WE. ARE. DONE.

After a lot of hard work we are finished! We as a class put in a lot of effort to get to this point and it is great to see how we could make something like this happen. Well done to us!

Almost There

Almost there

We are busy sowing up the quadrants and are nearly finished.

Getting close to the finish line

We have finished our quadrant!

The bottom right quadrant is officially finished. The only thing that still has to happen is the four quadrants need to be stitched together.

Here is the final:

And some pictures of us finishing it up:

I Love It when a Plan Comes Together

It is week two. After some frantic knitting over the weekend, we are putting together the final picture. We can really see everything coming together now. We still need to add some blocks and everything needs to be stitched together. Just some pictures of the assembled knitwork:

Forming the face, stitch by stitch.

Pixelation

Here you can see how we divided up the class picture into a grid: Our group had to figure out the pixelated version of the bottom right quadrant.

After The whole class added their pictures together we ended up with this:

We might still change it after we put the knitting together.

Picture Story!

We have created picture stories! This shows a bit about the knitting that we have been doing for the first two days and our progress.  We are having heaps of fun!

Enjoy!

This is our Identity

We, as a class, took pictures of ourselves individually. Mark, our lecturer, then merged our faces so that we could see what our unique features would look like if we combined them.

This is a picture of our little group combined. It includes Sakhi, Kyla, Meagan and Magdaleen's face. Not the prettiest sight but you can see the effect! We had a good laugh at this one.

This is the face of our class. It is amazing to see how sixteen individuals can be combined to form such a beautiful creature.

The project is starting to take form. We now have the face of our project.
