CO 10 st.
R1: P9
R2: K9
Repeat until piece measures 10cm.
BO
Cast on 10 stitches.
Row 1: Purl 9 stitches.
Row 2: Knit 9 stitches.
Repeat until the piece measures 10cm
Bind off
This method is done exactly the same as the stocking stitch. The only difference is that the reverse side is now being used. So the right side (RS) now becomes the wrong side (WS).
This is a bulky version of the basket knit.

Repeat until the whole piece measures 10cm.
